After more than 32 years of service to the citizens of Kitsap County, Corrections Officer Chuck Triggs is calling it a career!

Officer Triggs grew up in the South Kitsap area and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1981.

After a 6-year enlistment as a Security Police Officer in the United States Air Force, Chuck joined the KCSO family in January of 1990.

He has served as a Booking Officer, Shift Supervisor (for 16 years), Field Training Officer, Court Training Officer and Trial Officer during his tenure.

He was awarded a life saving medal in 2000 from the Washington State Patrol for his actions off-duty in pulling a person out of a burning car in Bremerton.

Chuck has earned the trust and respect of his colleagues and inmates during his long career and he will be missed!

Here’s to a long and enjoyable retirement for you and Lisa, Chuck. You have earned it!
