Save the Date for Kitsap Energy Summit – March 30, 2023

Listen in on the conversation with local leaders on the future of Bremerton, Kitsap County’s power grid

Message from Mayor Wheeler: You are invited to listen in on a strategic conversation with local leaders on the future of the Kitsap region’s power grid as federal and state laws accelerate the transition to cleaner energy sources and net-zero emissions.

Planned projects by the City of Bremerton, Kitsap Transit, Washington State Ferries and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, among others, will demand more from the power grid, creating new challenges for Puget Sound Energy to ramp up and meet future demand.

I am proud to be leading the Kitsap Energy Summit in partnership with Kitsap Transit and Puget Sound Energy. On March 30, we will be bringing leaders together from across Kitsap County to talk about future energy demand.

Please see the Save the Date invitation for the Kitsap Energy Summit below! Look for more details to come soon on how to tune into the broadcast.
