DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) FOR PAYSENO APARTMENTS (PW21-023)

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: Site development for three apartment buildings and associated parking, open space, and civil infrastructure. Through a Type II administrative Variance, the applicant requests a reduction to the electric vehicle charging stations required of multifamily development from 10% of all off-street parking stalls to 5%.  PROPONENT: Dave Burk, Burk Mechanical, 7583 Clover Valley Rd SE, Port Orchard, WA 98367 LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: 1653 Payseno Ln SE. Southeast of the intersection of SE Mile Hill Drive and Payseno Lane SE. APNs: 312402-2-003-2002 and 312402-2-016-2007 LEAD AGENCY: City of Port Orchard SEPA DETERMINATION The City of Port Orchard, as lead agency for this proposal, after reviewing a completed environmental checklist and other information on file, has determined that the proposed project does not have a probable adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). Information on file for this proposed project is available to the public on request to the lead agency. This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued February 11, 2022 under WAC 197-11-340 and Port Orchard Municipal Code (POMC) Title 20. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue.

Comments must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., on February 25, 2022, 14 days from the date of this notice.
