Joining in a global effort to raise awareness about suicide, reduce associated stigmas and share information about suicide and mental health crisis prevention, the Kitsap County Veterans Advisory Board, Kitsap County Suicide Prevention & Awareness Group, The Coffee Oasis and Olympic Educational Service District 114 invite everyone to World Suicide Prevention Day from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division St., Port Orchard. This special event features community information tables for youth and adults, a panel discussion with local mental health experts, opportunities for the public to interact, guest speakers and a candlelight vigil. Everyone is welcome – please join us!
