This is a public notice that the City of Port Orchard will conduct a public hearing on the following project:

Date of Application: March 21, 2022, with additional materials submitted on September 8, 2022, and November 02, 2022 Date of Complete Application: April 19, 2022 Date of Public Hearing: January 30, 10:00 am via Zoom, Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83230419835 Site Description: The property is addressed as 4100 SW Old Clifton Rd., Port Orchard, WA, 98366, and is generally located south of the intersection of SW Old Clifton and Feigley Rd. W., Parcel #082301-2-004-2002 Description of Proposal: The applicant has submitted for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction of a Wireless telecommunication tower. The proposed project will include a new 195′ monopole tower with up to six (6) new panel antennas, six (6) remote radiohead (RRUs) units, one (1) overvoltage protector, one (1) hybrid cable, two (2) equipment cabinets, one (1) generator, and one (1) utility H-frame. The site will be enclosed by a slatted chain link fence. The existing use of the project site is a Place of worship which will remain unchanged. SEPA Threshold Determination: After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency, the lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2(c)) and a Determination of Non- Significance (DNS) was issued on December 7, 2022 under WAC 197-11-350. This information is available to the public on request. Required Permits: Building permit

Applicable Code(s): Port Orchard Municipal Code Title 20. Review of Documents: A copy of the hearing record, including the application and supporting documents, are available for inspection by the public at no cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided at the requestor’s cost. Comment Period: Any person may participate electronically and provide public testimony or submit written comment until the close of record by the Hearing Examiner.
