The Port Orchard Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the City of Port Orchard City Council Chambers located at 216 Prospect St, Port Orchard and/or via remote technology, to take testimony and comment on a amendments to Port Orchard Municipal Code 20.68 and POMC 20.38.38.235 The proposed amendments to Section 20.68 and 20.38.235 is to remove an owner occupancy requirement for accessory dwelling units. Any person or public agency expressing an interest is invited to attend the public hearing and/or submit written comments to the Department of Community Development on or before 4:30 PM, July 5, 2022.
