The Adoption of an Ordinance Relating to Park and School Impact Fees. Amending Chapter 20.182 of the Port Orchard Municipal Code (POMC), to update the calculation, collection and distribution procedures for School Impact Fees to make consistent with the Interlocal Agreement between Port Orchard and South Kitsap School District and making housekeeping Amendments consistent with existing administrative procedures; Amending Section 20.182.060 of the POMC to provide for Annual CPI-U Adjustments to Park Impact Fees; Adding a new Section 20.182.128 to the POMC to identify the Parks Recreation And Open Space Plan as the Capital Plan For Parks; and Adopting A New Park Impact Fee Schedule.

PORT ORCHARD, WA – The City Council is holding a public hearing at its regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 6:30pm, regarding the adoption of an ordinance amending Port Orchard Municipal Code Sections 20.182.020, 20.182.070, 20.182.080, 20.182.090, 20.182.100, 20.182.110, 20.182.120, 20.182.130 to update the calculation, collection and distribution procedures for School Impact Fees to make consistent with the Interlocal Agreement between Port Orchard and South Kitsap School District and making housekeeping Amendments consistent with existing administrative procedures, Amending Section 20.182.060 of the POMC to provide for Annual CPI-U Adjustments to Park Impact Fees; Adding a new Section 20.182.128 to the POMC to identify the Parks Recreation And Open Space Plan as the Capital Plan For Parks; and Adopting A New Park Impact Fee Schedule.
