Renovations of the South Kitsap High School Community Pool began in early March. Demolition of the interior of the building has been the primary activity as crews have worked to demolish the floor of the pool as well as the locker rooms and bathrooms of the facility. Hazardous materials disposal has taken place as well as plumbing revisions. Work on seismic reinforcement for the roof has also been started. This summer we expect to start working on replacing the roof of the facility.
