State Indoor Masking Requirements Starting March 21, 2022

Kitsap County recently issued the following announcement on Feb 18.

Governor Inslee announced this afternoon that some state masking requirements will end on March 21, citing declining COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. Until then, masks will still be required in indoor public spaces, including schools. https://medium.com/…/covid-19-trends-give-leaders…

Individual businesses and school districts can still choose to require masks after the state requirement ends.

While cases are declining, COVID-19 activity remains very high in our county. We encourage Kitsap residents to continue masking to protect their health and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
