Alliance Evaluation & Treatment Facility is currently accepting application for a Charge Nurse.

About This Position:

TITLE:  Evaluation and Treatment Facility Charge Nurse – 0.9 FTE - Weekend Night Shift

DUTIES:  Primary responsibility is to provide evaluation and triage of admitted psychiatric patients at the Evaluation and Treatment (E & T) Facility. Provide supervision and direction to direct care staff on shift assigned. Medication administration and provide assessments, evaluation, and medication management to clients with persistent mental illness.  Provide liaison and coordination between psychiatric services, PCPs, and clients in regard to medical issues.  Maintain a safe working environment, including but not limited to safe clinical and nursing practices, compliance with safety protocols, etc. Complete clinical documentation.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Successful applicants will need an Associates of Applied Science or equivalent nursing degree.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Be licensed as a “Registered Nurse” with the WA State Department of Health. Must have good written & oral communication skills.  Computer literacy desirable – clinical software used.    Abstract of driving record for past three years required. Satisfactory criminal history backgrounds check results are a condition of employment.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Starting annual salary based on qualifications and experience.  Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement benefits, and “personal time off” (PTO).  Continuing education opportunities provided.  Hourly wage starting at $42.43.

WORK SETTING:  This position is located in Colville, WA.  Colville is located 69 miles North of Spokane in the beautiful mountain setting of Steven's County. The local area has a large variety of outdoor activities to include 2 ski resorts, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, etc. as well as the many social activities such as theatre and the arts located in nearby Spokane.  County population is 40,000 in a 2500 sq. mile area.  The agency provides behavioral healthcare treatment services for Stevens, Ferry, and Lincoln Counties.
