Kitsap County issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.
Here are the waste facility closures during the Holidays:
North
Hansville Recycling and Garbage Facility: Closes early at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Bainbridge Island Transfer Station (privately owned): Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Central
Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility: Closes early at 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Olympic View Transfer Station: Closes early at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility: Extended closure for annual maintenance, closed Christmas Eve through New Year's Day. The facility reopens to the public on Saturday, January 2.
South
Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility: Closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
