City of Poulsbo issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
COVID 19 vaccines have arrived in Kitsap County.
Supplies are very limited and are being restricted to:
• Some high-risk workers in health care settings
• Some high-risk first responders
• Some staff and residents of long-term care facilities Clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and other health care organizations will administer COVID-19 vaccinations.
Vaccine administration will occur in phases.
Not everyone will be able to get vaccinated immediately. The City of Poulsbo does not have specific information about COVID-19 vaccinations. The Kitsap Public Health District updates its website frequently with vaccine information: https://kitsappublichealth.org/CommunityHealth/CoronaVirus_Vaccine.php.
A reminder that mask-wearing and testing is still critically important. The Kitsap Health District/EOC continues to offer free, drive up tests in the Poulsbo City Hall every Friday (next date January 8). Appointments for these drive-up tests can be made after January 4.
