OC Celebrates Earth Week 2022, April 18-22

To celebrate Earth Week, Olympic College has planned a series of in person and online events. Earth Week at OC is brought to you by the Sustainability Advisory Council in partnership with the OC Diversity Advisory Council, OC Recreation, Student Government, and the community. Check out the events and get involved!

Monday, April 18

  • Tree Planting on the Bremerton Campus
  • Madrona Trails Walk (Cancelled)
Tuesday, April 19

  • Bird Walk at Klingel Preserve
  • Barner Landscape Tour
  • Diversity Advisory Council Film Screening of "Awake: A Dream from Standing Rock"
Wednesday, April 20

  • Storm Drain Art Project - Kym Pleger of Kitsap County
  • Creating a Pathway to a Livable Climate World (Talk by John Doherty)
Thursday, April 21

  • Illahee Preserve Wetland Walk
  • Sustainable Snacks - A Taste of Local Food
  • Plastics and Waste Reduction - Lauren Liming of Kitsap County Solid Waste
Friday, April 22

  • Scotch Broom Brigade - Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park (through April 24)
