In what has become a time-honored observance by local veterans since 2011, County Commissioners, the Kitsap County Coroner's Office, Kitsap County Veterans Advisory Board and Combat Veterans International, with support from the City of Port Orchard, host The Unforgotten, Run to Tahoma Celebration of Life Ceremony on Memorial Day weekend. A brief ceremony begins 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28 at the Kitsap County Administration, followed by a processional with local motorcycle groups to the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
