A no-contact advisory is in effect through Jan. 3 for Liberty Bay due to a combined sewage overflow reported by Poulsbo Public Works. See our bulletin for details: https://lnks.gd/2/z_jPNb

Note: A no-contact advisory is already in effect for marine water in the area of Keyport/Brownsville/Manzanita: https://lnks.gd/2/z-nh7D For a list of current water contact advisories, go to kitsappublichealth.org/beachesIn addition to reported sewage spills, rain and snowmelt are causing heavy stormwater runoff in many areas. Avoid contact with stormwater and marine water contaminated by stormwater runoff. Do not harvest shellfish in areas contaminated by stormwater runoff.
