A Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested following allegations of misdemeanor domestic violence. The arrest follows the report of an incident shortly after noon today, February 25th.
The case was immediately referred to the Bremerton Police Department for investigation. Officers took the deputy into custody, who was booked at the Kitsap County Jail. The deputy will be held in a jail outside Kitsap County pending a court appearance on Monday. The deputy voluntarily surrendered all firearms, a county vehicle, sheriff’s badge, and commission card and has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation. The case is being referred to the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
